Hi Hana, I think back ups are a good idea — you know, just in case…
If you have already written a lot it’s a pain I agree.
A lot of stuff I write directly on Medium so I often forget to back up which is annoying.
To “back up” I copy and paste the final, published version to a word doc. I have an archive of all my articles from 2018 and 2019.
Probably I will never need my back up — but it gives peace of mind.
Once you set up a “system” it should be easy.
Oh, and don’t forget to “back up” your “back up” too ;)
