Hi Anastasia, I guess I am lucky to have an independent mother — she doesn’t really check up on me except to enquire if I am joining for dinner or something like that. I am impressed with your mother’s persistence given you live in another country! The only thing you can do is try to establish and maintain healthy boundaries with family members.
